Team Tactics For -{A.N}- (Allied Nations) Before you get into this, let me congratulate you on a job well done. You were spotted for talent and we see you have potential to be one mean, lean, killing machine. That's where we come in. What is a tactic? Simple. So your enemy is staring you down with a grenade in one hand, and the pin in the other. Could be bad for you, him or worse... both. He's running for you full speed and you try to shoot him before he can get close enough to let it go. Too late... he lets it fly in fear you could kill him and he thinks maybe he will get lucky. It Flies. You flee and find cover from the blast. While running, you'd thought it'd be good to reload your weapon (if you shot anything). It's a miss... and now, he's all yours (feels good huh). Before he can ready another grenade or switch weapons, you come out blasting and screaming "Enemy spotted!" You take that SMG and you put that lead in his book and write his final chapter (before he writes yours lol). A tactic Isn't a plan, but what you do in a plan. Camping, Retreating, Peeking, and Covering are some of the techniques you know. This will break it down properly and... I'll throw in a few of my own :p Camping - Everyone wants to be a camper and can't tell you anything about it except you just sit there fiddling with your gun and talking to your friends. While camping is useful for that, there are other reasons. Scouting - After clearing a heavily defended area. Don't be so quick to run to the next spot. More troops could be around the corner or... They could be waiting for you in a well placed spot (gulp). That's where camping comes in. Instead of moving 12 feet per second, try 12 inches. look 360 degrees. Check high and low. Yes you are moving slow but scanning quickly is the key. When you finally get up to the door or corner, Peek. Peeking - Once at a door or corner, you don't just barge in. It could land you in an unwanted coffin. Instead try peeking. Using your lean keeps all of your body from becoming a target to unknown danger. Now all targets get is your head making it harder to hit you and in most cases, catches them off guard (unless your head is big :p) Coast clear? Go for it. See enemy personell? Maybe a group? Now you have 4 ways of handling this. Fire, Throw, Retreat, Charge. Fire - Any person should know this one. If not, war is not for you sorry. For those of you that do know, let 'er rip. If you are using an automatic weapon, use burst fire. Burst fire is done by not holding the triger down, but squeezing it some and letting it go. Makes less recoil and keeps your gun accurate. Ever seen a man's face full of bullet holes...? Throw - If you don't know how to do this, you're retarded... literally. Grenades are always a good choice, but not always in your favor. Sometimes you can Distract them (I'll explain this later on... its one of my own tactics). If they are behind cover.. throw over-hand. If there is no cover for them, use under-hand. the trick is... when you hold over-hand and throw, you could over throw (bad) or under-throw (bad). By now they see you and it could be all over. Also when you throw over hand, the longer u hold the less time u have to get away. If timed and angled jus right u can hit targets downfield or a few feet away. If you don't get it now, practice is the key. When you hold under-hand and throw.. depending on the time held, you can toss it short if they are near-by or mid-range (best used when you blow your cover and enemies are nearby. Also throwing under-hand explodes faster, making it impossible for them to escape.. or worse... you. Charge - So the door is open and you see the enemy taking a shot at you. He runs after missing. You run after him and tag him before he gets to set up in a new location (if you hadn't chased him, you could find yourself on the floor). this is called a charge. When danger is in your way yet you run into it, some see it as crazy, But if you know what you are doing... you could help your team advance... even if it is a couple steps. Another tactic to combine with this sometimes is what i call distraction. Those are the basics. Now for those of you that have that down pat, let's get physical. Distraction - You know the area is well-guarded but you have to go through it. Running blindly is a good way to get shot without hesitation. Instead, use your smoke grenade. The smoke is so thick... they cant see through, but it does let them know you are there yet it keeps you from harm (how is this you ask?). There a few things you can do after using smoke grenades. Move In - you can continue on the path you had originally (but most times you will catch a grenade or 2 and in some cases.. bullets) Advanced Firing -
